The missing link is being able to generate as an excel document.

Thank you for your note! You should actually be able to accomplish this already in Northspyre using the Report Builder, by creating a customized Draw Request. Simply remove the Cost Report –– select the option to display the Table of Content (this will be your list of invoices) and if you prefer invoice backup documents. At the bottom of this section, you can filter the report based on High level categories like "Hard Costs" or subcategories that you have created.
